Paris Reeves - Solicitor

Paris graduated from James Cook University with a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours), and the University Medal.  

 

Prior to commencing her career as a solicitor, Paris worked as a paralegal/secretary to a criminal barrister in Townsville.  This position involved working on complex criminal matters and liaising with solicitors and clients.  Following her time as a paralegal, Paris was an Associate to a District Court Judge in Brisbane.  

 

Since starting her career at McGinness & Associates, Paris has represented clients in a variety of matters before the Courts.  Paris is available to assist in all aspects of criminal law.  She has taken a particular interest in: 

 

  • Drug related offences; 

  • Assault offences (including offences of violence, sexual assault and rape); 

  • Traffic matters; 

  • Domestic and family violence matters; 

  • Coronial investigations; 

  • Natural resource and mining matters. 

 

Paris maintains a strong professional relationship with her clients and works to ensure that clients are kept informed and feel supported throughout the process whilst working to achieve the best possible outcome.  

 

Outside of work commitments at McGinness & Associates, Paris enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and reading.
